Who was
Renaud-Paré ?
Renaud Paré (1941–2024) was one of the initiators and co-founders of ARCG. A visionary and unifying figure, he dedicated much of his life to creating spaces of solidarity for gay and 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors.
In 2001, he helped found ARCG, an organization that has since welcomed hundreds of members. His goal was clear: to break isolation, create welcoming meeting spaces, and uphold the dignity and respect of older adults.
Thanks to his dedication, ARCG has become a recognized organization known for its community spirit, social activities, and commitment to fighting exclusion.

In honor of Renaud Paré, the Renaud-Paré Space
Located at 3880 Sainte-Catherine Street East, this space is more than just a physical place—it is a living symbol of solidarity and continuity. Every meeting, every activity, every burst of laughter that echoes here honors Renaud Paré’s vision.
This space is meant to be inclusive, safe, and welcoming—a place where everyone can feel seen and find their place. Here, we work, create, and dream together. But above all, we build meaningful connections that form the heartbeat of ARCG
It’s more than an office
It's the place where the ARCG team and leadership work every day to bring our projects to life.
It’s a lively space where our ideas, activities, and communications come to life
It is also a space for connection and human warmth, carrying forward Renaud Paré’s legacy: an inclusive, safe, and welcoming place open to the entire community
The Renaud-Paré Space embodies this vision: providing everyone with a place to feel at home, seen, and supported.
